Happy Fourth of July!

Whether you’re out partying or still having to work, it’s always a good day to contemplate positive aspects of our nation and ways it can improve. And if you are one of the many celebrating today, please do so responsibly. Though alcohol is still currently the national party drug of choice, why not buck the trend and partake in cannabis instead, which is relatively safer and healthier and depending on the strain, allows one to keep having fun for a longer time? What better way to celebrate freedom by enjoying a natural substance which has helped so many free their minds and which freedom-loving people have bravely fought to make available to more people (of course there’s still a long way to go).

Though studies have shown alcohol has a greater negative impact on driving than cannabis, it’s always a good idea to ride with a sober designated driver or partake in moderation and give yourself plenty of time to sober up if traveling by car.

  1. Awesome post. It’s great that we are entering a time where information about cannabis is readily available, and more people are realizing that we’ve been lied to about the harm it causes. Moreso, it’s causing people to finally compare it to other substances they are using regularly and assessing what us actually harming us. Thanks for sharing.

    • Thanks for the comment. Having a rational perspective of the relative merits and drawbacks of different substances and habits is a major factor behind the success of the harm reduction approach (and the growing movement against the failed war on drugs).
